The Open4Tax knowledge directories (knowledge is information that you can use) include unbiased innovative (disruptive) technologies that we think are worth knowing about. There is no cost to a manufacturer for being included in a directory. Products are selected by Open4Tax based on their ability to solve e-commerce and on-line sales tax requirements.

Each product selected includes a short summary taken from the manufacturers web site. The product name is linked directly to an appropriate page (we test for scams and authentic web addresses) on the manufacturers web site. We leave it to each manufacturer to present the case for their product. Each product has a post, written by a domain expert, and filed in the relevant moderated forum. Real users of the product are invited to share their experience by posting comments to the product posting.

Directory of Sales Tax Services

Open4Tax publishes a directory of Sales Tax scams. The word scam (link is to Wiktionary) is used by Open4Tax to describe a product that makes unreasonable or misleading claims about its capabilities. We do not include a product in our scam directly lightly. Each product included in the scam directory is linked to a page explaining the basis of our opinion.

Open4Tax invites selected manufacturers to advertise on our pages. We believe that adverts which are carefully placed on a page; contextually relevant; unobtrusive and in good taste; for interesting new products will be valued by our readers.
